Cricket Wicket Curator (Part Time) – Elsternwick Cricket Club

Elsternwick Cricket Club is one of Melbourne’s oldest cricket clubs, and last year fielded 4 senior mens teams in the VSDCA turf competition, the highest level of men’s cricket competition in Victoria, below Premier Cricket, and a senior mens team and a senior womens team in the Sunday Cricket Southern Bayside competition.

We are currently seeking an experienced Curator to prepare and maintain the cricket wicket on both or one of our recently renovated grounds.  This is expected to require a commitment of around 20-24 hours per week for both grounds, from mid-September to mid-March. With the recent redevelopment of the ground and clubhouse the club now enjoys facilities that are the best across the competition.

This is a paid position which could suit someone either seeking additional work to their full-time job in a similar field, OR perhaps someone who is retired and seeking an extra income and activity.

To be considered you must have some previous experience in wicket preparation, possess a demonstrated pride in your work and a commitment to achieving the highest standards.
